Jim
Jim (aka King of Diamonds) is our 7 year old, 14.2 h piebald cob gelding.
We bought Jim in 2008 from a lady near Kelso who had only had him for 6 months. He had been out of work for those 6 months and we found him quite a challenge after our previous 30 year old 12.2h pony! Jim’s first recorded owner is a Mrs Diane Shaw in Alton, Hants but so far I have been unable to trace this previous owner to find out more about him and in particular how he got the nasty scar on his off hind leg. If anyone recognises him I would love to find out more about his past!
Jim is fairly laid back but can be quite lively when he feels like it! He likes to buck when asked to canter but we are working on this and he is making good progress and is now enjoying doing some jumps.
Pony Club debut 06/06/10
Jim made his debut at the Peeblesshire Tweedale Pony Club at a rally on Sun 6th June 2010 at Drumelzier. Karen’s friend Beth rode him for us and he behaved very well.

Pony Camp 01/08/09
Karen and Jim are just back from a week at Pony Camp where they had a great time with their friends Beth on Bart and Sophie on Misty.
